About this centre

Our Bury St Edmunds assessment centre is located on the ground floor of Innovation House, on Boldero Road. We are located in the far corner of the car park, look for the Assessment Centre sign. The centre is easily accessible by public transport and we have allocated car parking spaces just outside the entrance to the centre.

Travelling by bus or coach

The nearest bus stop is Matalan on Bedingfeld Way, which is served by the M33 bus. From here go along for 0.2 miles and then turn right down Easlea Road (opposite Matalan). Turn onto Boldero Road and the centre will be on the right.

Travelling by train

From Bury St Edmunds station, it is approx. 0.2 miles to the bus stop called Tayfen Terrace. From here take the M33 bus to Moreton Hall. Alight at bus stop Matalan on Bedingfeld Way. Proceed for 0.2 miles and turn right down Easlea Road. Turn onto Boldero Road and the centre will be on the right.

Travelling by car

From A14 Junction 43

Head east on the A14 towards junction 44. At the roundabout take the 1st exit onto Bedingfeld Way. At the 2nd roundabout take the 2nd exit and stay on Bedingfeld Way. Continue for 0.6 miles and turn right onto Easlea Road, then turn left onto Boldero Road. Finally turn right into the car park. Following the signs to ‘Pet Place’ and ‘Moreton Hall Veterinary Centre’ will lead you directly to the car park, we are not inside the Moreton Hall Veterinary Centre but a separate building in the far corner of the car park with a ‘PIP assessment’ sign above the door and reserved parking directly outside the entrance.

Car parking

Parking is available outside the entrance in allocated assessment centre spaces (please do not park in the Scuba Tours or veterinary spaces).

When you arrive

Remember to bring your identification and appointment letter with you.

Access is via a door with ‘assessment centre’ written above it with a buzzer system if required. On entering the building you will see toilets immediately in front of you. Follow the corridor to the right through to the waiting area, let the site coordinator know you have arrived and then take a seat.  The health professional may still be in a consultation but will see you as soon as they are available.

The assessment centre is on the ground floor. There is an accessible toilet just inside the entrance.

The centre is at the far corner of the car park, we are not inside the Moreton Hall Veterinary Centre. The centre is a separate building with an ‘assessment centre’ sign above the door.
