About this centre
Our Canning Town Assessment Centre is located on Comyns Close. The assessment centre is accessible by bus and train. There is no car parking at the centre – please see car parking section for further details. The main entrance will be clearly signposted with an Assessment Centre sign.
Travelling by bus or coach
The nearest bus stops are at Star Lane and on Barking Road.

Travelling by train
Canning Town underground and DLR station is approximately 0.4 miles from the centre. Exit the station and cross over to Canning Town bus station. Take the number 69 bus to Hermit Road/Star Lane stop. Turn right onto Comyns Close. The centre is on your left.

Travelling by car
From the Southeast From the A13 Exit the A13, following signs to Stratford/A1011. At the junction, exit onto Barking Road/A124. Just before McDonald’s, turn left onto Hermit Road then turn left onto Comyns Close. The centre is on your left.

Car parking
There is no parking available at the centre, however there is pay and display parking on Hermit Road. A drop-off point is located outside the centre’s main entrance.
When you arrive
Remember to bring your identification and appointment letter with you.
Press the buzzer for entry. On entry, please let the receptionist know that you have arrived for your assessment.
